concept
Bluba Studio attaches great importance to sustainable development and environmental responsibility. To produce its blamps, Bluba uses biodegradable filaments, such as PLA - a biopolymer made from corn starch. PLA is an environmentally friendly material that, after the end of its life cycle, can be composted in industrial composters, which allows it to dissolve completely.
Bluba prints its lamps to order, which allows it to maintain low stock and limit overproduction. Translucent Blamp lampshades are made of PLA filament produced in Poland, and the colored cores are made of PolyTerra PLA. The manufacturer of PolyTerra commits to planting one tree for every 1000 g spool sold, which means that each spool contributes to the reforestation of our planet.
Thanks to the modular design, in the event of damage, only the damaged element is replaced, not the entire lamp. Bluba encourages customers to return broken lamp shades, which can be melted down and reused to produce new lamps. This approach minimizes waste and promotes product longevity.
Bluba Studio combines innovative design with ecological responsibility, creating products that inspire and delight, while caring for the future of our planet. Bluba's mission is not only to create beautiful and functional products, but also to care for our planet and promote a sustainable lifestyle.
